What's New?

2012-02-22 - Our programme for Semester 1 2012 is now on-line and available for download (PDF, 362KB).

2012-01-09 - We've replaced our Volunteering page with a broader "Positions Vacant" section on the site: check this out if you're interested in occasional or ongoing volunteer or paid positions at Nicholson Street. There won't always be places available, of course, so we'll announce new opportunities on our Facebook page as they arise.

2011-12-06 - We have established an NSCH page on Facebook for immediate updates to courses and other fast information sharing.

Please Note

Occasional Chilcare - It was with deep regret and after much soul-searching that Nicholson Street Community House had to announce that our Occasional Childcare service would cease at the end of 2011, due to the withdrawal of government funding.

Feedback - We're looking for your suggestions for new programme ideas!

Most of the files that can be downloaded from this page are in pdf format. If you do not have a pdf reader on your computer, there are several free readers available, including Foxit Reader for Windows, Adobe Reader [formerly Acrobat], and eXPert PDF Reader. Please read the documentation before downloading any software, and always check all downloaded files (including ours) with a virus checking programme before opening them.

Nicholson Street Community House produces an Annual Report each year, which is presented at the Annual General Meeting.

Additionally, NSCH produces or is involved in producing various other reports on an ad hoc basis, either for specific clients - Moreland City Council, for example - or for projects in partnership with other Neighbourhood Houses or organisations. NSCH's involvement may range from complete production through to contribution of data and/or resources.

Programme

The House produces a programme of classes and events on a semester basis (January and June each year). The current programme is available as a PDF file [362 KB] or viewed on line here. You may also download an enrolment form [pdf, 181 KB] which should be dropped in or mailed back to the House.

Please note: Changes to the programme are not reflected in the downloadable version. Changes will be noted on the News page (with links from the "What's New" box at left), and on the Programme page.

Newsletter

No Newsletter has so far been produced for 2012.
